Museum Quality. The Box although not stamped has the hallmarks of one of the top makers in Paris - Tahan. The Kingwood is of the best quality and the chequered veneering and design of the veneer is breath taking. The Box is mounted with Oromlu mounts wich are crisply crafted and the interior is in stained Birds Eye Maple all raised on 4 Ormolu feet. The original key and working lock are present.
